Tracy Davis is a senior at Georgia State University finishing her undergraduate degree in December 2008. She is studying Economics with a minor in Geography. She is a member of the university wide Honors Program and served as Treasurer for the 2006-2007 school year and President for the 2007-2008 school year of the Honors Student Organization. In addition, she was the Public Relations officer for freshmen honor society Alpha Lambda Delta for 2006-2007 and junior advisor for 2007-2008. She is also a member of the Latin American Student Association, Golden Key, and Phi Kappa Phi.
Tracy currently works as a Student Assistant in the Department of Political Science and as an editorial intern for the New South literary Journal. During the 2008 summer she is participating in a research internship in conjunction with the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies. She has previously worked as a Campus Campaign Coordinator with Teach for America and on an Economics grant project where she developed and edited content for an Economics website.
She is a native of Pennsylvania and has lived in Atlanta for the past three years. Her career goals include Teach for America, Graduate School, and ultimately becoming a college professor. She will serve as the 2008-2009 Vice President of Marketing for Phi Chi Theta!
